Education:  Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Macalester College

A learning or work experience that changed meI moved from Vietnam to the United States in 2002. During that time, our family received a lot of helps from the communities. I really appreciate the helps we got at that time because they certainly made our transition easier and smoother. Seeing how a little help can change someone life, it motivates me to volunteer.

Why did you choose to serve as an AmeriCorps VISTA with College Health Corps?:  I choose to serve as an AmeriCorps VISTA with College Health Corps because they focus on addressing health disparities.

Place I would most like to visit: I hope to travel around Europe in the near future.

One thing I can’t live without: Coffee

Hobbies: Camping, jogging, spending time with my family and reading

In 5 years I would like to be:  In 5 years, I hope I have finished with my education; hopefully have got a Masters in Public Health and started my career.
